Unpostable books - One FREE with any order from my bookshelf (just PM me if interested):

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Favorite genres:  I like practically all genres (well, not sports and NOT westerns or anything to do with cowboys), but my faves are cozy mysteries, sexy romances, historical fiction - and of course nothing beats a good novel (sometimes called literary fiction).

Favorite authors:  P.J. Tracy, Diana Gabaldon, J.K. Rowling, Clive Cussler, Lillian Jackson Braun, Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton

Best Books Read:  Monkeewrench (P.J. Tracy), The Sea Hunters (Cussler), The Kite Runner (Hosseini), The Bachelor's Cat (L.F. Hoffman), Outlander (Gabaldon), Hard Eight (Evanovich), Pompeii (Robert Harris), Tales of a Female Nomad (Rita Goldman Gelman), A Knight in Shining Armor (Jude Devereax), The Vanishing Point (Mary Sharratt), Remembering Blue (Connie Mae Fowler)

#1 Favorite Book:  The Stand by Stephen King

If I've wishlisted a book in multiple formats (hardback,  paperback, etc), then I'll gladly take it in any of those formats. For many books on my wishlist, though, I want them in the format (paperback, hardback, etc) that they are wishlisted.   Thanks.

General Likes & Dislikes for Buddy Swaps:

Love scented candles - especially cranberry or wild blueberry  - and ESPECIALLY if they come from Partylite because nothing beats a Partylite candle.  I also love the scent of sage.

Love magnetic bookmarks!  They are pretty much the only kind that I use.  They usually cost around $2 each if you can find them.  And even though they are magnetic I am somehow constantly losing them and could always use new ones.

Love  .... hearts.  So heart shaped earrings, stationery, etc.

Love ... tea and hot chocolate.

Love ... art deco, art nouveau, arts & crafts eras decorative items

Love ... funky earrings (small to medium size only please - and dangling is fine, just no more than one inch - I was NOT blessed with a long neck).  Some that I already own for example are: three colorful wooden fish in a dangle, a teapot and teacup, and all kinds of artsy/craftsy earrings.  Note that my ears start to itch if I wear really heavy earrings - so keep them light, please.  French wires are ideal.

Love ... Cozy socks

Like ... natural stone earrings (especially if they are heart shaped!)

Like Beannie Baby Teddy Bears and Fantasy Themed Beanies(JUST those - not any other beannie babies).  Yes, I still have my collection and am ashamed to admit that during the craze I paid up to $50 for one bear (but only once LOL).   I am still collecting these and here is a list of some that I don't have.   Bears: Bluebonnet,  Twirls, Peace, white America, Deutschland.  Fantasy themed: Enchanting the horse,  Y Draig Goch the dragon, Avalon the horse, Charmer the unicorn.

Like fantasy themed chachkis (sp?).  My home office is decorated very colorfully.  On one wall is my beannie baby teddy bear collection, in one corner hangs a large stained glass dragon who can "fly", and scattered throughout are wizards, unicorns and other dragons.

Likes  - Food:  I'm on a low-carb, low-fat diet.  So no high-fat, high-sugar candy please. Sugar-free candy is OK.  Sugar free gum is OK - I especially like Extra gum in Winterfresh or Raspberry flavors.  One treat I can have and love is flavored almonds - especially Sunkist Almond Accents in Honey Roasted or Butter Toffee flavors.  The one "regular" candy that I can have is Peanut M&M's - surprisingly they are low in carbs (but not low in calories so please don't send a huge bag LOL). I do love Jelly Bellies & Sweetarts and they actually fit into my diet well since they are so small.

Likes - Clothes:  Again, the diet means that I am shrinking (slowly), so no clothes please unless it's a scarf.  I love scarves of all kinds.  You probably can't find silk under the price limit, but there are some nice polyester ones out there, too!

Favorite colors:  greens of all kinds, blue, deep chocolate brown and golden yellow.

Music:  I'm in a rut and need to discover some new music!  The only music I don't like is rap, hard rock and reggae.  I haven't purchased a new CD in a long, long time so your odds of getting something I don't have are pretty good.  Surprise me with YOUR favorite music!

Gift Cards:  Borders, Panera Bread, Chilis, Caribou Coffee

Hobbies:  Reading (duh!) and cross-stitch.

Pets:  I have two cats, but I don't generally like cat themed items UNLESS they are fun and/or unique.  (Already have plenty generic cute cat gifts, thanks.)

Don't Like Coffee (but, ironically, kind-of like coffee scented stuff).

Don't Need - Doughboy stuff. Yes, although that is my nickname, I worked for Pillsbury for over 15 years and already have plenty of Doughboy stuff, thanks!
